So since I last posted a lot has changed! I’m still involved with City Church Savannah and Shift Creative… I’m now MARRIED to Amber Buchanan (formerly known as Amber Terry)…

We just had a huge festival here called Rocktoberfest which had 42 bands and was sweet! We’re planning another big one in the spring!

So that’s a quick update for now! Hopefully I remember to update this more!

Don’t believe everything you see on Facebook!

Did the “fairytale wedding” in a Disney’s Cinderella inspire Prince William and Kate Middleton? A prankster with some design skills (actually it’s not that hard to edit colors in a photo) released this side-by-side comparison of the royal wedding and the animated 1950 version.

Alas, there’s a bit of trickery involved here: the colors of the outfits worn by the animated characters have been altered from their originals. Of course, that hasn’t stopped the above image from going viral. I wonder if the person responsible will ever admit it was them?

I love music!

I’ve been involved in almost every aspect of the music business (performing, radio, touring, etc).

I’m excited to announce that I’m diving into a whole new world (as Pocahontas would say it) as I relaunch doublebmedia.com and enter the world of artist management and booking.

Basically I’m going to hand pick a few bands and customize a plan to help make them successful.

Nickelodeon is bringing back “The Adventures of Pete and Pete,” “Clarissa Explains It All,” “The Amanda Bynes Show” and yes, “All That”!

Beginning this fall, a block of throwback-tastic programming on TeenNick called “The ’90s Are All That” will start airing some of the best old Nickelodeon shows from midnight to 2 a.m. Pretty excellent news to start your Thursday, right?

The shows planned for the two-hour block of retro 90s programming include: “The Adventures of Pete and Pete,” “Clarissa Explains It All,” “The Amanda Bynes Show” and yes, “All That.”

Well played, Nickelodeon!

Now just bring back “Salute Your Shorts”, “Hey Dude.”, “Doug” or “Legends of the Hidden Temple” and I’ll be set for life!

My thoughts after seeing a free early screening of the movie “Soul Surfer”

I never thought Dennis Quaid, Helen Hunt, Carrie Underwood, and Jeremy Sumpter would ever team up to make a Christian movie… but I guess the devil had to bundle up and buy a snow shovel.

Seriously though it was an inspiring movie and Bethany’s storie is pretty cool. You can watch the trailer here:

My Extreme Makeover Home Edition experience…

Last night the episode of Extreme Makeover Home Edition featuring the Simpson family and Savannah aired! As many of you know as part of the episode I got an engagement ring to give to Amber!

Ty, Paul, Tracy, Ed, Paula, Shaun, the production crew, the builders from J.T. Turner, and everyone who helped or came out to the build were all amazing people to meet!
